Unfortunately, there is Bad news for all Fortnite fans, the server of the popular video game is still down just before the release of Chapter 5: Season 2.

Epic Games, the owner of Fortnite, currently has Fortnite servers closed for scheduled maintenance before launch.

The maintenance was supposed to last until this Friday morning, March 8, however the servers are still being updated and are offline; Therefore, players are wondering when they will be able to return to their virtual game world.

Okay, Epic Games, the maintenance was originally scheduled between 8am and 2pm this Friday, but the latest news says it will last a little longer, another eight hours to be exact.



 "We apologize for making everyone wait longer than usual to enter Chapter 5, Season 2 of Battle Royale, The team is working on this as quickly as possible, and we will provide another update when we have more information," the account reads. X for Fortnite, formerly Twitter.
